Draft letter thanking him for a party at the Cafe Royal. It was good of Spencer to come to the school and criticise the work again, but most of what he said was utter nonsense - few painters could be very helpful on these occasions. Middleton Todd would remain in London for a few weeks after the school closed to paint a diploma picture for the RA.
