Draft letter stating that he wishes to resign [as Assistant Teacher in Painting in the Royal Academy Schools] as he is not a candidate to take over from Connard as Keeper, and does not wish to serve under any other Keeper. He goes on to say that he has been happy to serve under Connard's direction and has very much appreciated his good counsel. Middleton Todd concludes by paying tribute to Connard's successful revival of the Schools after the long war period.
