Content Description
Kept intermittently. Mid January to mid April blank. Painting portraits in Westmorland until his return in London in June. Ward himself appears to have pasted over initial entries recording his return to London with blank paper [two of these have been removed]. A visit to France and Belgium, July to September (only a few entries), before returning to London, which looked like "pandemonium". His "weekly reviews" continue.
