Concerning the progress of the commission given to
Mr. Laurence, to paint his
father. He has called on Lawrence from time to time and found little has been done. In regard to his father coming to town to have his picture finished, Lawrence informs him that this is the busiest time of year and he is engaged with seven or eight sitters a day. If he comes at the end of the month the picture will be completed.
