BETWEEN Sir Francis Grant of No.27
Sussex Place Regents Park in the County of Middlesex
Knight the President of the Royal Academy of
Arts Sydney Smirke of No.80 Grosvenor
Street in the said County Esquire the Treasurer of
the said Academy and John Prescott Knight
of No.20 James Street Buckinghamshire Gate in the
said County Esquire the Secretary of the said
Academy of the one part and Philip Hardwick
of No.21 Cavendish Square in the said County of
Middlesex Esquire R.A. William Boxall
of No.14 Welbeck Street in the said County Esquire
R.A. and Penry Williams of 12 Piazza
Mignanelli in the City of Rome Esquire of the other
part WHEREAS on the twenty fifth day of May
One thousand eight hundred and fifty five John
Gibson late of No.144 Via del Babuino in the
City of Rome Esquire R.A. since deceased being then
and from henceforward until his death domiciled
in the City of Rome aforesaid duly made and
executed in the Italian language his Will dated the
twenty fifth day of May One thousand eight hundred
and fifty five which Will was afterwards translated
into the English language and the translation thereof
was duly certified to be a true and correct translation
of and from the certified Notarial Copy of such original
Will in the Italian language and to be of the same
meaning and interpretations And by his said Will so
transcribed as aforesaid the said Testator after making
several pecuniary bequests and bequeathing an Annuity
