She wonders whether she should ask
Sir Frank Dicksee to visit St. James's with her and see the
Madonna which Alfred Gilbert gave her sister years ago. She wishes to have it cast in bronze and the plaster is so easily damaged. She finds it remarkable that Gilbert could be accused of disliking royalty, when he can be such a bore about them.
