Content Description
Crome had been unable to attend at Yarmouth for three weeks because of a sharp attack of rheumatic gout. He admits that he should have written to let Turner know, as Turner himself suggested, but he excuses himself by saying that he was a very bad letter writer, and always afraid of putting pen to paper. He concludes by referring to Mrs Turner, whom he had heard had been very unwell, and by stating that he had sent two pencil drawings for the young ladies.
