Content Description
He writes by favour of the Board of Control. He cannot understand who recommendations of his case to
Marquess Wellesley by
Mr. Dundas and
Earl Camden have not been attended to. He has received a gloomy letter from Benjamin Wyatt who says that Palmer & Co. think the portraits painted at Lucknow should have remained in India. He insists that they were painted by order of the Nabob for
Sir John Macpherson to whom they will be given when the Nabob's Bond is honoured.
