Spencer enquires whether the members of the RA would be willing to contribute to a subscription to restore the headstone of the grave of
Frederick Walker, ARA. The subscription was being raised by the Vicar of Cookham, the Rev. Hayward Browne. Spencer says that he had always had a very great admiration for Walker's pictures and his engraving.
