Content Description
Begins in praise of Ernest's new wife. He understands that, successful as he is, Ernest "would like to do more as an artist", and has always admired his abilities. He has nearly finished the big [fresco]. He has finished the drawing of
Muriel. His hand is giving him trouble. The
Spartan Wall has got on tremendously, he feels it the best thing he has ever done but the average British Public is not educated enough to understand it. On Sunday he has to go to Llandudno to address a large gathering of inspectors.
Arthur is still feeble,
Herbert is on Hubert's yacht.
Checco visited, silent as ever.
