Responsibility Note
James Kennedy is recorded as the editor, and author of the dedication and introduction to the first edition of this volume, published in 1769. His name does not appear in this later edition but as the text of the Introduction appears to be identical to the that of the 1769 edition it must be assumed that James Kennedy remains the author. ESTC also states that the text was written by James Kennedy (fl. 1769).
All plates are drawn and engraved by John Alexander Gresse.
