The frontispiece and five plates are signed 'WSB'; some are captioned as after Albrecht Dürer or carry his initials 'AD'. They all carry the publishers' imprint of Longmans & Co.
The title-page vignette is signed 'WSB'; the other in-text illustrations are unsigned.
The printer is named on the half-title verso and in the colophon: 'London: Printed By Spottiswoode And Co., New-Street Square And Parliament Street'.
