The book is dedicated by the publisher, John Booth, to William, Lord Bishop of London (afterwards Archbishop of Canterbury).

Summary Note

This work was originally issued serially in twelve numbers of ten plates, the first two numbers carrying the date 1 March 1810. Most plates carry the original date of issue. When first issued in volume form, the title page was dated 1819 and the title read, 'Architectura Ecclesiastica Londini; being a series of views ...'.

Most plates show external views of the churches - but eight show interiors.
