In Roma,: Nella Stamparia di Iacomo Fei d'And. F., M. DC. LXI. - Con Licenza De' Superiori.
Physical Description
[14], 1-242, 245-345 (incl. twelve leaves of plates), [31] p., frontis, engr. dedic.; 263 mm. (Quarto.)
General Note
The pagination 245-345 includes twelve folding leaves each carrying one print with blank verso. Each leaf of plates appears to be counted as two pages, but even so the pagination is irregular. In addition p.68 is misnumbered as 98, and p.297 as 397.
The engraved dedication is unsigned (or the signature has been trimmed from the Royal Academy's copy). The frontispiece and all other plates are signed as drawn by Lazarus Baldus and engraved by G. Castellus or by F(r). Sp(ier). (frontis. and pl. [2]).
The printers' names are repeated in the colophon.
The work is dedicated by Gio: Andrea Borboni to Cardinal D'Aragon.
