Summary Note
Prince Albert's collection included a Crucifixion by Duccio and an 'Apollo and Diana' by Lucas Cranach. He also bought paintings and sculptures by contemporary British artists. Some of his purchases remain in the British Royal Collection, others hang in the National Gallery, London.
