This work contains facsimiles of manuscripts in Italian by Leonardo da Vinci in the Bibliothèque de l'Institut de France [Library of the Institut de France] (mss. A-M) as well as in the Bibliothèque nationale (mss. Ash. no. 2037-2038), with parallel translation and notes in French by Charles Ravaisson-Mollien.
