Responsibility Note
All plates except no.[17] are initialled as drawn by 'I. F. L.' or 'J. F. L.' Most also carry the initials of their lithographers - 'J. D. H.', 'I. F. L.', 'Rd. L.' and 'W.G.' (whose full names are those given on the title-page and again in the 'List of Drawings').
Almost all plates carry the imprint of Hodgson Boys and Graves.
The title-page vignette is unsigned.
The work is dedicated by J. F. Lewis to Arthur, Duke of Wellington.

Summary Note
No publication-date is given on the title-page. Some plates carry dates alongside the draughtsman's signature - usually 1835, but 1833 on plates 2, 3. Some plates carry earlier dates within the plate - usually of 1833 or 1834. Plate 2 carries the date of 1835 within the plate and 1833 with the draughtsman's signature.
The plates provide a survey of the Alhambra or 'Red Citadel' (al-qala al-hamra) at Granada.
They are one-tint lithographs.
