The three title-pages carry the publication-dates of 1817, 1818 and 1821.
The frontispiece of Volume I shows a portrait of Antonio Allegri painted by D. Dossi. The first two plates of Volume II show a border of rinceaux, putti, lions etc.; the third is a genealogy of Correggio; the fourth shows two facsimiles of his hand-writing.
