The Greek Letters are numerall, & signify how many Testons or eighteen pence each Medall is worth; for instance A signifies eighteen pence, B three shillings, I fifteen shillings. These prices were settled by the Author, & Sigre. Bianchi, Antiquary to the Great Duke of Tuscany. The Asterisks (*) mark such as have been counterfeited by Alexander Bassian & John Cauvin of Padua taken out of Le Cabinet de la Bibliotheque de Ste. Genevieve a Paris. All therefore of that sort ought to be carefully examined before bought.'
