Physical Description

Title-plate, 15 prints on [ ] leaves; 200×285 mm.

Responsibility Note

The six prints showing saints John, Paul, Peter, Simon, Mathias and Philip are signed as made by Callot and printed by Israel. The nine showing Christ, saints Thomas, Andrew, James the greater, Thaddeus, Bartholomew, James the less, Matthew and the Blessed Virgin are signed by Israel only 'Cum Privi(legio) Reg(is)'. J. Lieure states that some early states exist without Israel's 'excudit'; and that in the early 18th century Fagnani added numbers to thirteen of the prints.
