The title appears within an ornamental border following a half-title showing a standard-bearer with the title within the banner; then the Contents, Introduction, List of plates with translations of the original lettering, Personages & corporations whose arms are emblazoned in this work, the 40 plates and a leaf with Register on recto and colophon on verso.

Copy Note

On the verso of the half-title, facing the title-page, is a decorated border enclosing, "The Impression consists of only Two Hundred and Fifty copies. of which this is No. 3"

Binding Note

The binding is an ochre-coloured cloth on the boards, with lettering and decoration in black ink; the spine is black leather lettered in gilt, 'Pope Clement VII. & Emperor Charles V. At Bologna, MDXXX.
