Van Worrell's name is given more fully at the end of the dedication ('A.B. Van Worrell') and the Preface ('A.B. Van Worrell, Animal And Landscape Painter. 62, Warren Street, Fitzroy Square'). In the Preface he describes himself as a Dutchman and an artist.
The printer is named on the title page verso and in the colophon: 'J.S. Hodson, Printer, Cross Street, Hatton Garden.'
