Cecil Roberts (1892 - 1976)

English journalist, poet, dramatist and novelist. He worked for the Liverpool Post during World War I, first as literary editor and then as a war correspondent. From 1920 for five years he edited the Nottingham Journal. In 1922 he stood for Parliament for the Liberal Party.
