The leading firm of wood-engravers in Victorian London, in business from 1839-93; the associated printing shop, Camden Press, ran from 1857-1905. The brothers George (1815-1902), Edward (1817-1905) and Thomas (1823-1906) Dalziel were the core of the firm, but other members of the family were also involved. The term “Dalziel Brothers” is used to refer to the Dalziel family or firm where no specific printmaker has been identified.
