Publisher of the Dunciad in 1729 from which time he became Alexander Pope’s regular publisher for the next eight years. Addresses: Homer’s Head, o/a St Dunstan’s Ch., Fleet St.; Westminster Hall; Oxford Arms, Warwick La. Traded as Gilliver & Clarke 1736-9.
