Leonard Clark (1905-1981) was an English poet and anthologist. He was born and bought up in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire which influenced his prose and poetry. He worked as a teacher and school inspector. His best known works include The Hearing Heart, Singing in the Streets: poems for Christmas and English Morning and Other Poems.
