Jane Miller (b. 19th century)
RA Collection: Art
A pencil drawing of a hamlet with cows drinking from a pond in the foreground and houses and trees in the background. According to the inscription, this was drawn by Jane Miller from a painting by Philip Reinagle. The pencil work on the trees and foliage is similar to the technique used by Oriana Georgiana Reinagle (Philip's daughter) and it is possible that the two were acquainted. Oriana was a friend of J.H. Smith and appointed him the executor of her will.
