Content Description
Millais advises the Secretary not to make a donation to [W. S.] Burton. Burton had received a donation from the Artists' General Benevolent Institution, but they had let him know that it would not be repeated following receipt of unsatisfactory reports concerning him. He has been writing piteous letters for years. The best person to consult concerning him is
