Content Description
The letter accompanies probate of the will of Sir J. E. Millais [not present], so that it may be registered with a view to the payment of the balance due to him as President. The London and North Western Railway Company have informed Stibbard that they have registered the probate in respect of debenture stock in the names of the late
Lord Leighton, Millais, and Messrs
Calderon and
Horsley. He supposes that this is some stock which belongs to the Academy.
