Content Description
The eighteenth century books, where they survive, form a detailed record of the attendance of Schools students in the Plaister Academy (known more formerly as the Antique Academy) and the Life Academy. They are of use in showing the composition of classes attended by students such as J. M. W. Turner and Martin Shee.
