Content Description
He has been informed of the return of Humphry's "old complaint" in his eyes. He must cease all activities that lay strain on his eyes. He hopes Humphry sees Will frequently and that he is a comfort to him. He will have heard of the death of poor Mr. Pratt. He died intestate, but it is well known he intended his books for the writer. Mrs. Pratt is also not expected to live and with her loss, added to that of her brother, they have lost their strongest friends. His children are well, George excells at school. He recently met young Mr. Hall.
