The Catalogue lists 160 items. Thomas Lawrence had been a notable collector, especially of drawings. His collection of architectural casts was left to the Royal Academy.

Interleaved throughout with ruled sheets, inscribed in ink with the prices of the items, the total reached on the day of sale (£701.2.6) and names of buyers.

With this is bound a thirteen-leaf manuscript, entitled, 'Catalogue Of A Collection Of Architectural And Other Casts Late The Property Of Sir Thomas Lawrence Decd. These Casts were taken principally from the beautiful Marble Specimens at Rome, and are facsimiles of the ornaments of the most celebrated Buildings now remaining in the Fora &c &c. as well as from those Fragments discovered at various times, and placed in the Museum of the Capitol and Vatican, together with parts of Candelabra, Altars, Pedestals, Cippi, &c. &c. in those and other private Collections.'
