All plates carry the name of the source-artist. Those dated 1796 or 1797 carry also the name of the engraver, F. Bartolozzi; those dated 1806 or 1807 and the undated plate [7] carry the names of the engravers, P.W. Tomkins, I. Stephanoff, L. Schiavonetti, G.S. Facius or F. Bartolozzi. The engraved dedication is signed as scripted by Tomkins and engraved by Merrifield [i.e. Thomas Merrifield?].
Each plate carries Chamberlaine's imprint.
The work is dedicated by Chamberlaine to the Princess of Wurtemberg, Princess Augusta and Princess Elizabeth.

The title-page is dated 1797, but several plates carry later dates. All the plates carry dates, except pl. [7]. They were issued serially as follows: April 11 1796 (pl. [2], [4]); May 7 1796 (pl. [13]); May 13 1796 (frontis.); January 18 1797 (pl. [1], [3]); April 17 1797 (pl. [5]); May 5 1806 (pl. [10]); March 20 1807 (pl. [6]); April 15 1807 (pl. [8], [11], [12]); May 17 1807 (pl. [9]). (According to ESTC publication of the plates continued to 1811.)
The frontispiece and seven plates show drawings by Annibale; one, by Agostino; two, by A. Caracci; three, by Ludovico.
