RA Collection: Art

This is one of a set of three drawings, with 09/676 showing the side elevation and 09/677 showing a section. The building is a garden temple, the design based upon the Pantheon in Rome with obvious similiarities of the Corinthian portico and the shallow dome pierced by an oculus. To this Yenn has added the church-like side towers with niches and crowned by cupolas.
