One large volume consisting mostly of correspondence of the Lawrence family.
The volume contains letters from Andrew Lawrence whilst at sea on the HMS Blenheim and the Brittania. Both ships were part of the Mediterranean fleet in 1795. There are items relating to an attempt to construct a family history. There is also a great deal of material relating to estate administration after Lawrence's death in 1830. There is an extended series of letters from F.C. Lewis, the engraver, relating to the posthumous publication of engravings of works by Sir Thomas Lawrence. The final items are Christie's sales catalogues detailing the dispersal of Lawrence's remaining effects in 1831 and 1834.
